Dragon Rush II

on ScholarsMC

Welcome to Dragon Rush II, an event hosted by ScholarsMC! Teams of up to 4 battle against each other to be the first to kill the Ender Dragon.

Where: mc.scholarsmc.org

When: Friday, September 4th at 6pm Pacific / 9pm Eastern

Discord: https://discord.gg/QRKENFW

Register as an individual or team here! Team priority is determined by whether your team has donated or has a donator, number of players on the team, then by order of registration. This event is registration only, and registration closes September 3rd at 11:59pm Pacific.

Event Format

PvP is enabled and encouraged. Use it as a tactic to stop other teams from getting to the dragon first!

You're able to TPA to teammates once every fifteen minutes. The warmup time is 15 seconds for teleports.

The team that has the player that gets the "Free the End" advancement is the winning team. This means you should kill anybody else in the End before attempting to take on the dragon to ensure your team will win!

We'll accommodate up to 16 teams. In the event that the server TPS drops below an average of 15 over five minutes, we reserve the right to remove teams based on order of registration, with the teams registered latest being removed first.

Spawners in the nether will be unbreakable as there are a very small number of fortresses.

World Borders: Overworld: 6000x6000, Nether: 4000x4000, End: 1250x1250.

Special Event Rules

Every player gets a potion effect from the list below! No two players on the same team may have the same potion effect. The person registering your team will select what potion effect you get.

  • Fire Resistance
  • Health Boost II (+4 hearts / 8 HP)
  • Haste II
  • Speed II

The world will be in 1.16. PvP will be in 1.8 style (so spam click all you want!)

Event Rules

Review these rules carefully! If any member of your team breaks these rules, your team will be disqualified.

  1. ScholarsMC rules 1, 2, and 5 are in effect. This means: don't cheat and be nice. If you are violate our rules during any of our events, your ban will be unappealable.
  2. Cross-teaming is prohibited. This means you should not work with other teams in any way.
  3. There is to be no communication between different teams during this event. This includes via ingame messaging, Discord, or other methods not listed.
  4. Teams must consist of college/university students. We won't verify your status as a student, but we ask that you honor this requirement.
  5. Teams are not required to have students all from a single college or university, although we encourage teaming up with friends.
  6. There are unlimited respawns. However, if the 15 minute teleport cooldown is still in effect, you won't be able to teleport to teammates.

On the practice server only, you have access to all event-approved potion effects (/effects), /heal, /back, /time, and no teleport delays. The current seed (and more detailed information) is published in our Discord's #event-announcements channel, so feel free to check there.
